Welcome to Bhutan, upon arrival in Phuentsholing, you will be traditionally greeted by the tour executives for travel to Bhutan. After that we will proceed to your immigration formalities and will directly take you to Thimphu and check-in the hotel.

Upon reaching Thimphu, you will have your first taste of Bhutanese cuisine and some light sightseeing.

In the morning if interested, enjoy the rafting over the female river of Punakha. And drive towards Paro. Paro valley- The beautiful valley is home to many of Bhutan’s old monasteries and temples. The country’s only Airport is in Paro. The valley is also home to mount Chomolhari (7300 meters) situated at the northern end of the valley whose glacier water forms the Pachu flowing through the valley. The following are some prominent places to visit in Paro.

Guru Padmasambhava (referred in Bhutan as the second Buddha), who has introduced Buddhism in Bhutan has landed on the back of a tigress in the 8th century and meditated in the cave where tiger’s nest main temple perched now.Today, you will do a hike to the most recognised spot in Bhutan. It will be around 4.5 miles medium level hike with elevation escalation of 900m from Paro Valley. Your guild will do hiking tips and brief you one day prior to the hike. After that we will proceed to sight see places such as:

In the morning, after breakfast we will drive to Phuentsholing with some stop over on the way. After arrival at Phuentsholing we will bid Farewell to this beautiful Himalayan country and take an early drive back to Hasimara. And back to India by Train (Hasimara departure at 15.30 and reach back Kamakhya railway station at 22:20 and drive to Shillong.
